Playing in the Snow

We enjoyed playing in the snow that was left after the Nutcracker.
It was the boys' idea to put a handlebar mustache on the snowman we built.

Freezing at the Nutcracker

There was a huge snow storm the day of the Nutcracker. We decided to take the bus instead of driving. It was pretty easy getting there, but during the show a blizzard started which made all the buses hours late. We spent a lot of time at several different bus stops waiting and freezing.

The Nutcracker

On December 20, 2008 Tori, Aunt Heather, Gavin and I went to the Pacific Northwest Ballet Nutcracker for a homeschool field trip. The kids had a lot of fun. They enjoyed watching the dancers and the musicians.

If there's a will...

This picture was taken December 12, 2008. The idea was to keep Aaron strapped down to keep him out of things while I babysat. He found ways around this!

Random Pics

I love this pic of Aaron and I. He just randomly started exploring my eye lashes. Too cute.
The next pic is another baking triumph of Heather's. She knew I would never bake anything to take to our co-op friends so she took care of it for me. Her "martha stewart" side really came out with this. They are homemade oreo cookies iced to spell out birthday wishes. This was for his 6th birthday.

The Comets, Soccer '08

Gavin's soccer team was the Comets-coached by Debbie Loveless. After each game the parents would make a victory tunnel for the kids to run through. They loved it!

Gavin and Tori's Soccer Fans

Aunt Stina, Uncle Brian and Logan came to see Gavin's soccer game.
It was even raining! Aren't they a cute family?

What's Ryan doing?

Ryan had some serious business to attend to during the soccer game.

Go, Tori, Go!

Isn't she cute?

Go! Gavin, Go!

Here's some pics of Gavin in action. They were taken November 1, 2008.

Soccer '08

This is out of order chronologically too, oops. Gavin and Tori played
Kent Commons soccer together. They had a blast.

Gavin and Aaron Reading!

Gavin started reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do you see? Aaron loves that book and promptly climbed on the couch next to him to be read to. Then they posed for the picture. This picture was taken April 17, 2009.

The Final Product

Ryan is happy as ever to take a picture. (He has to be in the mood.) Tori is as photogenic as ever.

Yummy Gingerbread!

This actually happened after the soccer season. I got my time line a little mixed up. This was December of 2008.

Gingerbread Houses

It's just before 2008's christmas. We decided to make gingerbread houses for a homeschool art project. Gavin was very excited to have a project he could eat later! Heather was wonderful and made all the gingerbread. I just love having her help with homeschool. I wouldn't have the first clue how to make gingerbread!

Indianola!

Indianola is a special celebration on the day of the lowest tide of the year. It's a fun day at the beach over on the peninsula. It usually happens in July or August.

Heather's 30th Birthday

So I know this is a little out of order, but I love this pic of Heather and I at her 30th Birthday party. She turned 30 in Feb. of 2009.

Trick or Treating

The boys had fun trick or treating with their cousin, Logan.

Activities at Co-op

We had our reguarly scheduled actitivies despite being dressed up. At co-op we were studying Italy so the kids had chariot races and they were the horses! They also sang Autumn songs.

Halloween 2008

We had a Halloween party at our homeschool co-op.
Here's Tori, Aaron and Gavin, but Ryan was to grumpy to take a picture.

Jeff for Halloween

Jeff went as a 70's basketball player. He's rediculous.
