Favorite Picture of My Boys

This is my favorite picture of the boys! Gavin is 6. Ryan is 4. It was taken June 5, 2009. We went camping at Kanaskit-Palmer campground for my birthday. We took a book of Pacific Northwest Insects and matched bugs we found with their picture in the book. If you look, you can see a millipede we found. Gavin has his notebook under his arm where we documented our findings.

Duet

Before the Opera by Children performance the kids got up and performed little numbers. Gavin and Tori sang I am a Child of God together.

Opera By Children

Saturday, May 30, 2009 our homeschool co-op put together a presentation called Opera by Children. They wrote, practiced and performed their own opera. Theirs was about a king, queen, princesses, fairies, cooks, cats and gladiators in Italy. Gavin was a gladiator. Tori was a kitty. They had a lot of fun.
